What is the Swansea Community Boat project?The Swansea Community Boat will be available for use by community groups and schools from across the Swansea and Neath Port Talbot areas. Trips will also be run for visitors to Swansea Museum and the National Waterfront Museum, to raise revenue to help cover project running costs.

Our “clients” will come from schools and community groups, with a focus on the Communities First and former coalfield areas. Close links will be maintained with schools, community outreach workers, social services, and other agencies serving people with particular needs – including disabled, learning difficulties, old age, mental health, disadvantaged.The Hafod Copper Works site at Landore
Revenue will be generated by running trips for client groups and the public. Additional income will come from donations and sponsorship through the use of the boat for hospitality events by firms, individuals and organisations.
